There is such a plethora of choices–you can watch six-time Tony Award winner Audra McDonald play Rose in “Gypsy” or witness Denzel Washington in “Othello. “The amazing Adrienne Warren will also return to Broadway in” The Last Five Years.” Disney employs “31” Black actors in “The Lion King” and “MJ” is coming in close with “30”. Seeing us on the stage gives one such feeling of pride and joy.
