The New York Hillbillies held their annual Christmas Party Luncheon this past Sunday at the Davenport Club in New Rochelle, New York. The New York Hillbillies is a social club founded in the 1930’s by people who lived on Harlem’s famed ‘Sugar Hill.’ This is an annual invitation-only holiday celebration where members invite their friends. The event was hosted by the current president Kyndell A. Reid and members; Renee Bluford, Gail Burroughs, Joy Cooke, Lynelle Granady, Mercedes Granady, Jean Jordan, Dorothe Lewis, Edith Matthews, Marcella Maxwell, Dolores Poindexter, Sylvia Sandrige, Karen Selsey, Clotilde Stenson and Nola Whiteman.
